Pictures of the fender floating

I bent up some mild steel round stock and made the 4 mounting points that'll hold the fender. Once the seat is on it'll cover the mounts well so they won't be seen.

I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Rear fender illusion

For a customer's build I'm doin I mounted it as clean as possible and created the illusion that it is just floating there mind freak style.

I started by drilling some transition fit holes in the fender where the bungs I machined will fit through.

Then I welded the bungs from the bottom side so there are no visible welds showing. It looks like the bung and fender are one piece.

The Fuzz

Issue 6 meeting was briefly interrupted last night. Tim was late and sped on by a couple of cops. They finally found him 30 minutes later.

Sake, Sake Sake Bomb.

News Flash! The Lowside Crew went to Florida to team up and party with Dime City Cycles. In the process we were filmed for an upcoming Cafe Racer TV special on the Discovery Channel.  But that's not all. The Crew left the sunshine state in a shamble, and virtually Sake barren.

Bitchin Bike of the day....

First in a daily post of a different bike a day that I really dig for various reasons.

Guy from Greasy Kulture magazine's Pan really turns my crank, so clean and simple. Everything where it should be and nothing extra. Schawing!
